Thanks for the comment. I wasn't trying to say that EVERY singly I love you or goonight was another goodbye...just for the character of the poem. I was forced to write that poem for a poetry contest for my AP English class..and well, it was about perceptions and the girl in my poem was just another hopeless romantic perceived as a slut for love or soemthing.
