haven't been able to catch up to you as of late with holidays for both of us and I'm sure Jeffrey's own baseball schedule, but I did want to thank you again so very much for the silver trophy in the recent Baseball Contest! since contest end, I have included a dedication to Jeffrey, #73 to the poem. He just reminds me so much of myself as far as baseball when I was younger...and at that time little girls weren't allowed in the little league!

take good care and your holidays were wonderful!

You have an interesting profile here and in some ways yours parallels mine. As I have had deep interest in both medicine and law. Also worked as a nurse and decided to start writing.

Thanks for showing interest. I lightened the text color, and I hope that it is much easier to read, now. If you have any more problems, please let me know.

I am really impressed. Your author’s page reads like a résumé. And not without merit. We see you have done some very good things in this life. Not to mention the struggles that go side-by-side with them. I followed the link to your published work, and I do agree, wealth is a greedy master. Without reading your work, in this regard; we are of the same mind. In fact, I have written about that in my poem, “hooves without the shod”, if you would care to have a look.
I thank you for you’re many wonderful reviews and time spent commenting. It is a very special thing to a writer of prose or poetry, when someone is taken by there work. Such is the case in this instance; I am very touched by your constant attention. Again, thank you. Ronald

Re: 4 Haiku I got hooked on Haiku when I was about 10 years old and I have enjoyed reading and writing them all along; but my main form is freestyle as you can tell. I am currently working an the Korean form know as Shijo (not much written in English -- some good translations) but I am working on the rhythm of the pome to get a solid feel for the structure before I do any real writing in that style. --again thnx for the comment and M\erry Christmas and happy New years to you as well.

Glad you liked Windowless Rooms, it was fun to write, and it has things that as you say are about discovery and also of things that we often do not want to admit to ourselves, things that we keep hidden in a windowless room until we come across them, often at the most inopportune moments.
  • Morgaine on January 1, 2004

Hi Vita, welcome aboard. Hope you find as many friends and have as much fun here as I have. From reading your author page I find that you are very well educated and multi accomplished. I congratulate you. I am not, but I do enjoy thinking and passing along some of my thoughts to others. I see you have read several of my dittys and I do thank you for the comments. I read one of yours, looked at several more; sorry, I am not into Haiku. Have a good Christmas.
