I was recently in Waco and visited the Elizabeth Barrett Browning and Robert Browning Library at Baylor University, and was very impressed. I see you are in Texas and I wondered if you have ever been there?

XXXIII - Full many a glorious morning I have seen

My variation, no apologies to the bard:

Too many a glorious morning have I been
abed while rose kiss'd fingers greet the sun
nor looking, when I should have seen
the rainbow trail when scarce it had begun

I have missed much whilst I was away
her hair of corkscrew ribbons spiraling
and lips so gently curved as if to say
"yes! touch me now" inciting everything

So much has passed whilst my gaze was not there
beauty has lived and died within its pause
no one can cast their presence everywhere
nor in all time, the single moments cause

I cannot drink regret to slake my thirst
yet I am filled with it and fit to burst

I have a paste botten on my mouse must have hit it. Sorry I didn't mean to send you the Saga of my family on the Gulf. And yes a social concious in this day is a frustrating thing. If you could see what I see as a nurse-well let's just say something has to give. I also say DONT give to the red cross that buracracy has helped so few along the coast it is pitiful. everyone I talk to has nothing but frustration with FEMA and The Red Cross. As well as praise for the small American organizations and individule Americans who suprizingly enough stood and are standing up to the plate,

I was just checking out you page. For some reason my favorite poems from the Sonnets of the Potugese is "If thou must love me." and "First time he kissed me" My favorite Browning Poem of all time is NOT a love sonnet it is a poem called "Grief" I am also a huge Donne fan was suprised to see him on your page. He seems so often overlooked yet was one of the gretest poets to ever grace this earth IMHO.
