    Hello Mr. Crowheart,

I just wanted to drop by and reiterate with you that our enjoyment of each other's poetry has been mutual.
Peace, brother, and let our paths cross many times.

So glad you're writing again. Missed the skillful tweaking of my melon.
  • Iohagh : OK, I added you as a favorite because, well, um, you see its like this... on November 20, 2006
    Dear Crowheart

I added you as a favorite because my big sister, who once was Zayra Yves, now is Oshun yemaya, and she has you on her favorites. One way I grow is I follow my big sister around silently and learn from the feet of a master poet. So I hope you don't mind me poking aroung your poems. Smoosh my darling before I whoosh. Janet

I was going to ask the same thing Rob did, but you answered him, and me. Life can get hectic!
Hope all is well your way as well...

I am here barely...Both Deb and I are doing night school on top of a hectic work and life schedule. The words eke out from the cracks of continuom and fall feckless and buried within folds of oiled pigments. I hope all is well...

    IS ANYBODY IN THERE ?
  • just rob on August 21, 2006
But how does the thundercrow patrol? If the hurdy-gurdy of double-clutched rythom leaks the occasional syllable does the goatee hear the stain?

But then, turning Japanese is such sweet sorrow. And the tires clickety-click on the same black evolutionary expansion joints.
Oops, I said joints. Tee Hee

i love your author picture. you know it's fuckin' creepy, don't you? in this off-putting and at the same time alluring way... a lot like most of Alice Cooper's music. it's creepy, it runs shivers down your spine and yet you smile.

    ... because you LIKE it.

Wow Crowheart, Your page is looking so fantastic. So..Thats you..Dan Menzel. I liked the flaring eyes as well. A strong little character you have created..He's very cute.
Lots of nice shiny crow energy (They just wouldn't understand)
    Peace and Joy Tara
  • Imokon on August 23, 2005
The flare gives it that 'sketch' look instead of the drama, and the eye just looks cute. But I do have a suggestion, on the one I used in my poem, I cut and pasted the divider between the sketchy flare and the red feathers. You might want to try that and see how it looks. If it doesn't look right then try fading the sektchies into the feathers.

  • Crowheart on August 23, 2005
so which do ya like better (and why) the eye or the flare?
  • Imokon on August 20, 2005
I think the eye looks spiffy, I also noticed the little flare.
  • Crowheart on August 20, 2005
thankyou, thankyou...While doing this, I found a real easy way of making eyes that look pretty dang good (methinks)!
  • Imokon on August 20, 2005
    Awesome touchups Dan!

So T, what was the wierd adventure strong enuff to make you change it?
  • Taranand on July 19, 2005
What a handsome crow. Great pen drawing. Very "beaky"
When I left my husband 10 years ago. I became a poet and called myself CrowFeather. I wrote black, shaggy wolverine poems.. and generally annoyed people. One day I had a very weird adventure concerning my rather dubious name; dropped it instantly and re-invented myself. As Tara, a much lighter character for me. Just friend of Crows, now. ~
Thats what I told them when I joined 1111 area for CROWS.
I'm writing a crow poem. I'll get back to you.
    Love Tara
