Lowell Poe : SHE SHALL RAISE HELL IN PURGATORY on July 2In the twilight of the Comanche
and the Navajo,
with their peyote dreams,
our count down to their existence
which was on the rise,
had not yet brought her upon us.
When American slave owners
who cried for freedom,
killed their own,
her descendants were
waiting for her arrival.
The daughter of Muhammad,
the bride of Jesus,
the poet laureate,
kin to Elijah,
friend to Lazarus,
the profit of revelations,
the first lady of revolutions,
who would give birth
to the final great struggle,
of our Armageddon,
was yet star dust,
waiting to show us the way.
The damsel who's only distress
was she must wait in the wings
for her turn to come forth.
Out from the glare
of the Sun King she comes.
Throngs of faithful
waiting for her to come forth,
to burn her at the stake,
and steal her scrolls,
to claim as their own,
and attribute her writings
to idols of false Gods,
to serve their own believes.
I tell you now!
Gather her words!
Bring them forth
to your children's children.
She is a disciple of no man,
living or dead.
Her scrolls will take us
to the new order,
her very existence,
that is here and now
and may never return again,
Will lead us
to our new world
of tranquility.

TheSilverQuill : Awed on February 26Your essence ... there is sometihng very soulful, simple and almost majestic about you. You surpass spiritual and make a something.... familiar, but very unknown to me. I envy the deep, soulful beauty you carry. And in your peotry! Your writing style is that which I crave to create, and yet fail to by all means. I do not envy you, but you impress me beyond belief, and are now idolised, to a tame, tame degree... furthermore, your backgrounds are beautiful, and you've kept this short and sweet (while I couldn't bare to contain myself from the world)...
You.... ROCK!!!! -
EarthToJim : Knowing you like politics... on February 7...perhaps you'll allow me a shameless plug on your page? If not, delete at earliest convenience--

Wesley Storer on July 1, 2006Thanks for your comment on "A Vampire rules the Moon". I was inspired to write this poem when I remembered my friend, C.M. Archer, a true gentleman who liked to dress up as Dracula, and we were in a college play together at S.F.C.C. in Spokane, Wa , 1973, that went really well for participants and audience as well. He certainly looked the part. He was one handsome devil. He was only 51 when he died, unfortunately. He always befriended me knowing I was just another down and outter on the street, and he always took a few minutes to brighten my day. The poem is symbolism for our friendship and the alienation of my existence. Thank you for your interest.
