Aya-san, I, for one, do not believe in God for the time being, because of the crazy things my mother tells me. But, I do know that I believe in people, because they're all working hard to fix this planet to be better for the rest of us people. I also believe in the Big Bang, and I was telling my friend that that's what created the Universe, and then he said, "God created the Big Bang." Now, I researched the Big Bang, and I read that it was due to the explosion of an atom? Was it He that caused the explosion? Because I do not know many facts about Athiestism (if that's a word) neither do I know much about religion, and that is why I remain neutral, because I can't support something without any evidence. That is why I chose to read your views on this, to consider choosing a side.
Also, on how you view art, I completely agree. But, about the museum and the artist that the curator met, I contradict your opinion that the stick he picked up was not art. BUT, on the other hand, I believe in the quote, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder." Now, the curator might not look at the stick as art, but the artist will. Now, I believe what I am about to say will totally confuse what I previously said. The stick, if you look at it quite closely, and through the eyes of a true artist, you'll find that every little detail seems it took effort to grow and take the shape that it is in now. You said that art is something that takes time and effort and skill. Wouldn't God be the one that would have done that?
See, seven days may not seem like enough time when a whole universe is being buil. Seven days equals 168 hours. How much can YOU do in 168 hours? I'm sure if you put your heart and mind into something, it CAN be done in seven days. Like the universe was built in seven days ^_~
Now, Aya-san, I am going to ask you a very deep and meaningful question, one that might change my life forever.
