Hello! I wanted to pop by and say thank-you for finding my poem worthy of the silver trophy. It is an honor and greatly appreciated. In answer to your question about this being therapuetic it is very hard but it is very theraputic as well because you learn to trust yourself. The one person you have to live with all the time.

    Ok.
I didn't move with Billy. He's working in Atlanta for their paper there. He's some big deal photographer now, I guess. We broke up months ago. It was kinda mutual I guess but very awkward. We were still talking as friends until recently. I think he thinks he's too good to talk to me anymore.

Me. I moved to work for a small paper in North Platte. It's always cold and I broke my ankle slipping on some ice (you probably read that on my author page though.)

I cover the City. And I'm already burnt out. I want to find a job working in a warmer place doing features but that's the dream of course.

As for Sharon. Sounds like she hasn't changed at all. Is she at least getting laid?

Glad they are footing the bill on your classes by the way. They needed some kind of benefits. What will you do when you leave? As for me, it's only been about three months and I already want to go back home!
  • Janus Gate on January 16, 2004
Long time no see (or read)!
I've been so wrapped up and guess what?
I've moved from Texas. How are things there?
    How have you been?
I've found that lately, my computer is my only connection to civilization!
Hope to hear from you soon.

This is a very interesting and revealing page in your life book. but coming from someone you think must be a bitch, I'm sure that means nothing to you.

Heh what was that about? Why would I think you were a bitch? Is it something I've forgotten or am I just being a bit thick?
Hit me back on my auth page

Thanks Eagle. I appreciate you clearing that up for me. Too bad that guy was born into the wrong concepts and lifestyle. Sounds like he could have been a great guy.

  • Eagle on November 30, 2002
Thank you so much for commenting on so many of my poems! You're so sweet. I'll be reading through a bunch of yours too! Oh, and just as a side note, 'Behind those white masks' is actaully a true story, and it's about the 'un-fall,' so no, it really isn't just you! LOL. Basically he was this guy, who will go unnamed, who I met and completely fell for. He was so sweet and we were at the mall one day, when we were talking about the things wrong with the world, and he said something along the lines of 'It's those damn N*****s and Jews.' I thought he was joking at first... but he wasn't. That kinda killed my crush right there... But I took the words 'The KKK Took my Baby Away' (which are from a very sad, beautiful song by the Ramones) and used them in the opposite way... As in, this guy was so sweet, and I was falling for him, but he had been brainwashed to the point where I couldn't be around him. His parents were in the KKK and had basically taught him that since he was born, and untraining something like that is near impossible. His parents were probably taught it since they were born too... But he wasn't a bad person, honestly he wasn't. Just in a very very ill state of mind. He'd never known anything else. That's what the poem was about.
Anyway, thanks again for reviewing for me!
  • Bb on November 27, 2002
cherry rain, thanks for the charming comment about me you left on Purple's poem 'robbos block' Robbo is a very good mate of mine from England and when i said 'it sucks' I was referring to his mental block and not the poem!
  • TheWanderer on November 25, 2002

    BEHAVE

Good and Have I just can't be.
Don't even ask. Its just not me.
To be is a prison. To not is the key.
So I'll chose not so I can be free!
  • Just4u on November 11, 2002

    PONDERANCES

What be the reason I do what I do
    What is the real motivation
Am I forever just playing games
And what's with all this fustration

Is life a game that I just play
Or am I really just the pawn
Help me find the place I seek
    Lead me toward lights dawn

    Hugs...Eddy

    Hello CherryRain,
Thank you for those most tender comments on my homepage.
I think anyone who loses a loved one is changed.
When these poems started to come out I knew she
was okay and in a very spiritual way was telling me
about her new life. I can feel her helping me find words,
she had the most special way with them.
    Warm regards,
    Rob
