    Inspiration
    (an acrostic for silverwingz)

    ~~~

    I was a blank slate today,
    Newness sent me fleeing with fear;
    Someone said a kind word that reached me
    Pearling coolness onto my heated brow--
    It was your consolation & kindness
    Rallying with words a simple poet's dispirited sighs
    And so I write again
    There is magic in the reader who
    Instills the poem with life as you do.
    Only a thank you cannot surfice for so much,so
    Now I give to you a poem just for you.
