Allo Sheona, glad you dropped in. I took all my poetry down almost a year ago because I wanted a break from it. It seemed like everything I wrote was the same. I was unsatisfied for months afterwards, so I quit writing completely. It was refreshing to say the least - to deny myself something that I once lived and breathed. I've learned a lot about myself, internalizing my thoughts and now I'm ready to speak again. Hopefully this time around I will be more focused and increase the intensity of my work. Still a bit rusty but I'm working on it. =) Hope to see you around! ~ Brian

Sorry I´ve been away for ages - have moved house and am still waiting for a phoneline, promise I will be back as soon as I´m organised! Love to all, I miss readingf your poems, but it isn´t the same perched in a cybercafe- I prefer lounging at home with my feet up and the keyboard on my lap!

I am most pleased also to make your aquaintance. I am truly overwhelmed at the response I have had today, mainly through the persistence and good wishes of a certain Caducus whom I must thank from the bottom of my heart. Thank you, too, for the comment on my poem. I was staggered by the different interpretations, but your comment alone made it all worth while. I loved how you responded to the poem - almost a poem in itself.
Thank you so much. Blessings. Cx

STOP-PRESS!! 'Heart on my Sleeve', my first 'pocket-poetry' chapbook, is now rolling off the printer as I write, and is available for online purchase. Gremlins in the web upload have prevented my updating the website, but if you are interested, visit www.celticnomad.net and email for details! I am so happy to have completed this first in a line of creative goals, particularly in the teeth of practical adversity!

many thanks to my friends online and on here,
    love

Hello, and thanks for the messages - I've been very busy, hence I've been quiet poetically; and now I am putting my house up for sale and 'downsizing', I will doubtless be quiet a while longer! Painting, decluttering and housekeeping on top of everything else don't leave much room for the muse. Anyone want to buy a villa on the south coast of Spain!? Keep writing, friends, so that I can visit and unwind...
    love from Sheona

Welcome friends, I've just finished working on my first ever collaboration - with sidewinder - you'll find our poem at allpoetry.com/poem/500528
Hope you will visit it and enjoy!

By the way, slight delay in the publication of my first poetry pamphlet - but it is worth it, as it is due to the artwork being done to illustrate it! I'll let you know when it's available, or pop into my website for updates...

Hello Brian and all my friends at AP. Happy New Year! I'm back, briefly, and am delighted to announce that my website is up and running, and I'm busy working on the final touches to my first 'pocket poetry pamphlet', so forgive my absence, and preoccupied air! I have enjoyed reading the recent poems of all my favourite writers here, I just don't have time to comment at the minute - normal service will soon be resumed, I hope!
    - dashing out again.... Sheona

Hello I just randomly clicked on your name and think your author page is very well written. I found it surprising that you mentioned Robert Burns because he is my great {I don't know how many greats} uncle. I'm going to go read some of your work now.

Once in a while serendipitous wings brush my heart with a wisp of majestic potential...arousing my spirit to a heightened state of anticipation. Rarely does the anticipation equal the reality...but in my initial discovery of Celtic Nomad's prose not only did reality exceed expectation...it revealed a poetess of enchanting passion and imagery.

I thank you now for my impending journey...I am anticipating a treasure of exultant wonder....discovering the unique soul of Celtic Nomad...a soul that reverberates with truth...in the canyons of my mind.
