because this is a poetry website... i'd like to read and critique poetry. and what purpose does it serve to come into my guestbook and insult me? waving your ego around really isn't a good insult anyways, but still. =\

something to that effect. no, no i dont. but i would like to see people on this site at least try and put their thoughts and feelings into a poem, not a paragraph that can't even be considered a short story. it was nothing but a speech. -

It is perhaps my fault that I spoke somewhat in haste yesterday. I certainly respect your ability as a writer, though I may not always know where you're comming from...the only reason I took offence to a few of your poems is because I've received something similar myself on other sites. Since then, I've taken the time to read some of the comments that particular young woman left on your work, and I agree - they were uncalled for. My only comment would be that you have no need to lower yourself to her level by replying to her less-than-mature comments.
Also, I have read more of your work since then, and am quite interested in your style...I'm not exactly what you would call well-versed in more modern styles of poetry, but it sounds somewhat lyrical to me. Is it inspired by certain artists? I would like to end this comment on a positive note, so...no hard feelings, man. You are doing a good job - don't let other people get your convictions down.
