    Thank you for your comment I have to tell you, it's people like you who inspire me to write. Though I don't add much to this site I write quite a bit, and poems like yours called "reading milton i found reason..." make me want to strive to be so much better than I am. There is so much beauty and power in your words, and I hope that someday I can move someone as greatly as you moved me with that write!
  • luv2dream on August 31
    oh...i happened to see you in the picture along Lake Superior. My b/f lives in the UP of Michigan and I am seriously planning to (soon I hope) move that way. That is such a beautiful area. Never been to Minnesota though. I have similar pictures though of that lake snow covered.

    Here is a comment you left on one of my poems back in 2008 (September);

    "Mmm Perhaps it was telling you to let go and free yourself to do more things that you enjoy, it's sometimes not good to ignore that inner voice that calls so plaintively. Slow down sis and smell the fresh air"

    Little did I know that adhering to your words has caused me to be able to breathe a bit easier. Coming to AP more than once or twice a week has freed me up a bit. But, I tend to switch addictions, and must treat FB the same. Although FB does afford me the arts network that I seek.

    Thank you for reading into my spirit almost a year ago. It's a shame that I just got the message today after re-reading the comments on that poem about being awakened by the cries of an infant.

    I LOVE YOU

    Renee

    We are the music makers,
    we are the dreamers of dreams
    wandering by lone-sea breakers
    and sitting by desolate streams;
    world-losers and world-forsakers
    on whom the pale moon gleams
    We are the movers and shakers
    of the world forever, it seems.

    For each age is dream that is dying,
    or one that or coming to birth

    I am supposed to pick 12 women (who have touched my life) and whom I think would want to participate. I think that if this group of women were ever to be in a room together, there is nothing that would be impossible. I hope I chose the right twelve. My hugs, love, gestures and communications hopefully remind you how special that you are. Please send this back to me.Remember to make a wish before you read the prayer. That's all you have to do. There is nothing attached. Just send this to twelve people and let me know what happens on the fourth day. Sorry you have to forward the message, but try not to break this, please. Prayer is one of the best free gifts we receive. Did you make a wish yet? If you don't make a wish, it won't come true. This is your last chance to make a wish!'May today there be peace within. May you trust that you are exactly where you are meant to be. May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith in yourself and others. May you use the gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you. May you be content with yourself just the way you are.Let this knowledge settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love. It is there for each and every one of us.
