rebeka on November 21, 2004hi Bonnie, dropped in to see you, what an interesting woman you are! you have been writing these books and i presume to tell you your poem needs an edit! lol!!! forgive me for being such a dork...(however, i still think the second run reads much better!) i was especially interested in that you work with teens, so do i...in a different setting, it is one of the most difficult yet rewarding jobs i have ever had...your page here was facination to read, your words reflect an open and genuine personality, a lady and teacher, and indeed, a poet, even if you say you are no poet...i am glad i finally made it by to read a little about your life.

Lady Bird on November 19, 2004Hello
You don't know me, but I've been reading some of your work tonight, and I must say, I'm very impressed with what I've seen. I look forward to reading more of your poetry and getting to know you better

Overly Analytical on November 17, 2004Awesome page, I was wondering if I could use your poem "Her Heart Expired" in my AP English class? We are finding poems written post-1900 and your words have meant more to me (and that's how I define the best of poetry) than any other poems that I have been reading. I pray that you will allow me to present your work to my class, until then God bless!

duana on November 6, 2004hi I'm glad I stopped by your page. I enjoyed reading it from top to bottom

Claide on October 10, 2004His grace is sufficient! (Concerning our everyday thorns of course [2 Cor.]).
You've a beautiful spirit! I absolutley agree with you on your stance in "denominational identification" (if you will). As a younger lad, doctrines between denomniations frustrated me. I was expected to accept and follow the doctrine of the church I participated in but I refused. What are we put here to do, follow the doctrines of man, or God?
"Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness..." [Matt. 5:6]
I don't suppose Jesus is adressing, "seeking a specific doctrine". Rather, "seek my will".
I stand proudly beside you in saying I simply study God's word, no doctrine of man!
I'm into my second year of studying personal "Apologetics" and it's been an unbelievable ride! I'm also taking on Hebrew which is a handful in itself
, reading right to left is quite a pain.
There's such an outcry here on AP! I love the fellowship and love to meet others who partake in walking towards Calvary.
Shalom!
Love,
Claide -

BonBon on October 3, 2004Thank you dear sister in poetry for your kind comment on Glowing Light Within. For some reason I needed your kind words today. Tears seem to be very near.

BonnieQ on October 2, 2004Hmmm? Graceful and dignified? Well, the last time someone said that of me, I proceeded to fall flat on my face, soda going in one direction, purse in the other and my dress over my head-- before the entire bank where I was a junior loan officer. LOL!
Then there was the time I went skidding around the corner into my office, then flying through the air--- with the greatest of ease, I might add--- then slammed to the concrete floor: broke my kneecap clean in half. LOL! When the doctor ask what in the world I had been doing, I quite calmly and matter-of-factly said, "I was demonstrating how graceful I am." I think he thought I had lost it all together. LOL!
Thank you, Pari and Poetryality for your very kind compliments. Alas, that picture was taken in 1992 at my 30yr class reunion. I've aged a bit since then and earned every year of my 60. LOL!

poetryality on October 1, 2004You are beautiful! I wish my family would take a photo of me with our digital camera so that I could post it. I don't know how to use it!
Great picture, very dignified!

Hello there BonnieQ. I promised I'd drop by and check everything out in return for your treasured comment on my own poetry. Just another bump in the road you know. After reading your bio and one or two poems I must say I'm in awe, but it's also my bed time so I'm going to leave a little note here and tell you how wonderful I think you are before I scamper off that direction. Never fear, I'm not done, I'll be back sometime during daylight hours to give you a proper critique.

TheEnigmaOfLife on June 14, 2004BonnieQ you wonderfully wise knowledgable woman you! I just had to pop on here and add to your bio page my remark..."Hey Everyone this is one terrific woman here with lots of heart and soul, and no matter your religious beliefs and such she has always been a deep humanly inspiration elsewhere and folks love her so much! Never could you ask for a more intellectual without being radical viewed person!"
YES, all that means is she is not only one terrific writer but also one heaven of a lady, friend and peer!

BonBon on June 14, 2004Hello Bonnie Q.
Had to stop and read about this person with such a lovely name. Mine is Bonnie J. aka BonBon.
Love the line you were vaccinated with a phonograph needle. You gave me a good belly laugh on that one.
Will look around and talk to you later.

Ladybug on June 4, 2004wishing you well this day dear Bonnie, for I know in God's basket of annointed oil you may find relief for he tells us
as we have faith as small as the mustard seed we can move mountains and calm any sea.
So for today, I ask the Lord to annoint you with his special oil and align your physical being into a calm, peaceful surrenity so all the aches and pains may fall at your side.
The swelling of the jaw should certainly be looked at by a medical person.
I wish you back to full health soon.

phatalvision on June 2, 2004Hi Bonnie, thanks for reading my poem. It did not find favor in the judge's eye (or ear or nose for that matter), despite the fact that it is one of my personal favorites. It has so many soft sounding words. I haven't been around much in the last 4 months, I spend 99% of my time at the OldPoetry part, I have fallen in love with researching the great, semi-great and not-so-great poets of the past. Thanks again for stopping by to read one of my poems. Dan

lordoftherings on April 21, 2004Oh Bonnie, this is specifically why I opened up these groups, this is what I am searching for to improve my writing and the reason why I hate the word prewrite, because poetry is always evolving with the help of others who can see better and is only prewritten when it is in the brain, after that it is no longer prewritten, but written and evolviong. hugs and hugs and hugs
PS O will work on it and see what I can come up with, if I have difficulty, can I come to you ? -
WranglerSteve on April 19, 2004WOW, it's most amazing how you hit your comment on my poem (The Train Whistle Blew) to a "T". I was once in a relationship much like that. And it ended much like that, only more symbolic rather than actually at a train station. The funny thing is. I wrote this when we were at the peek of our relationship. Kinda odd huh? Almost like I could tell what was going to happen because I knew she did not love herself. Anyways, thank you so much for the kind comments and words you've given to me. Thank you

CookieZeal on March 4, 2004Dear Bonnie,
I didn't realize you are inflicted with the Pauline iniquities, and am sorry, but it appears that you are allowing it to be USED for His glory.
You've got quite a bio here, and am hoping that we can all realize that is by NO accident that the Lord provides fellowship in every sphere, including cyberspace. Hallelujah!
A wonderful sharing, and an interesting person reflected here. Love, CookieZeal -
Catch The Demon on March 4, 2004Quite an interesting read on who you are Bonnie. I enjoyed reading your author page. Although I do not share your views I whole heartedly applaud you your conviction of belief. I rather like the way you handle words. It shows a maturity and intelligence mixed with a good dose of respect for the written dialog. I will return to read your words at a later time. I'm sure I won't be disappointed.

fly on March 1, 2004I decided to check your homepage and wow. You have some pretty impressive credentials. I feel pretty insignificant as a writer after reading of your accomplishments, you have done and accomplished so much. This is just my way of self expression and releasing feeling inside. I couldn't stop if I wanted. And I really do want to hope like some of my writing may accomplish a greater good, though sometime I wonder.. I do respect your opinions and value them. I think maybe you are one of Gods angels in disguise. Once again thanks for taking time out of what is obviously a busy schedule to read and critique my poems.

poet-wyatt on February 10, 2004Good AM Washington...
Thanks for your continued support on my work. Since I signed on in Jan., the support I have received had met some unknown need in my soul. You, also have been an inspiration for me. I have held back/out from exericising my voice and thoughts. Why? don't know. It is fashionable to delve into rediscovering your inner-child. Well, that little B.....d caused me so much grief that I will just keep him buried. Ha...Ha...I have written another this am. I awoke at 3:30 and worked till 5. Read some, came across a neat contest by richard-went to his page and received a blessing.
Well, it's time for a nap...Ha..Ha...Lord Bless you -
Bradley Johnson on February 7, 2004wow, i just read your poet page and im amazed that you're still walking with all of those diseases! i really admire your faith a whole lot!! no matter what life tosses you, you dont sit and point fingers at God like the rest of the world and that takes someone with a really great heart. God bless you and thank you for an awesome testimony!

Revelations 21:4- And God will wipe every tear from their eyes. Their shall be no more death, nor crying, nor sorrow; their shall be no more pain for the former things have passed away. -
phatalvision on February 6, 2004Thank you for reading my poems and thanks so much for the applause. After reading your page here, I am honored that you have enjoyed reading my work. It's always great to hear from someone who has succeeded at writing. I would be glad to hear your opinions on any of my work. Thank you again, Bonnie.

oneslowtyper on February 1, 2004Just reading your bio, a phrase jumped into my thoughts, so I'll spill it out here - If life wasn't hard, there would be no reward in living it.
Every day that you continue to push on, is an inspiration to anyone that has the good fortune to cross your path.
Changing the subject slightly, if you were to see my small poetry website, you would see how fond I am of rhyming poetry. I like to incorporate pictures with my poetry and, naturally, I think they're great. LOL
They range from spiritual to heartfelt to humorous. I hope you have a chance to check out a few. Thanks for your comments on my work. Take care.
John
