    I remember the color of your sky eyes
    as I drew past the sun in chase of you
    across words that spelled poems
    magical in their place with the moons.

    I remember reading your lips as
    centuries pulled up around my
    neck like a turtleneck of soft
    plush cushioned clouds.

    I remember telling myself
    that light can only come from
    the dazzle of your presence
    and swore to myself to rectify
    my neglect of you before the
    silver satchel of stars empties.


    Remember I am a seventy year old man masking as Zorro the Poet. Look for me riding through your neighborhood on my horse.
