Midnight Dove, I just realized that though we are "just meeting" that I entered one of your contests and remember feeling terrible about your grandmother and about your husbands illness. Hopefully we can "talk" soon. God bless

Hi Susan. We at Arrant Faith have received your application for membership. I've sent a copy to my sister Leaders Joanne and Patricia for review and their vote. As soon as I hear from them, I will send notice to you. Thank you so much for being interested in our God-inspired group!

    Hey Dove,
I'm sorry to hear that you've lost your beloved grandmother. I think I'd be heartbroken too if I lost mine.
She's in a better place now though it seems. And she'll probably be smiling down on you until you join her too one day...
That is such a great poem by Frost by the way... it's very thought provoking I think.

Hmm..... those look like some interesting sites to check out! I might just have to stop back by to investigate their wonders...

Oh yeah, i forgot to mention, Welcome to the Wenches! I'm glad to be a fellow wench with you. I've had a good introduction of you so far, but I look forward to getting to know you more through the group.

    I'm open to Ims.

Okay I tried 5 times to send you a message and it would not work, so I am doing it here. I entered the contest for your grandmother and have a request. Could you PLEASE put my real name Glenda Shank, on the poem Red Shoes in Heaven by littleone61. I hope to actually be an author one day, and would like any work that goes out to the public to have my real name on it. Thank you so much, and again I am sorry for your loss.

I am so sorry to hear of your grandmother's passing. Your words expressed how much you loved her and I know she will be missed. I will host the contest for you.

May the Lord comfort you and your family in your time of grief.

    Much Love,
    Renee

Dave, first, I would like to say a million thank you for taking the time to read my poem. It is well appreciated. I am not yet a poet but a person who would love to become one. When I first started writing, it was all because I could not cope with my inner feelings, I could not understand my purpose of living. If anyone has read my first poems, they all were a little bit twisted and sick. One day I woke up early morning and starte thinking that no matter what happen to me in life, I am alwlays living, that there gave me a stronger want to continue living. From that moment, I knew that my purpose was to reach out to others that are in need. I see in this site, a lot of people wish to disappear, some want to go to hell and others just keep on hurt themselves. I despise those ideas, therefore; i bring to the table a better solution.

    Okay now, about the poem

I am not sure if you are a fan of the bible, in case you are, the part I adore most in the bible is the proverb section. I found the bible to be the greatest book of poem and every other things. If you keep your eyes open enough, you'll find the words to rhyme as well. As a writer, I always leave out a great message at the end of my poem, my way to look out. Don't you ever give out the conclusion of your work, let someone else discover the mystery behind it all

Hey I see you! At least, I think I see you!
LMAO at HUGH... MER! That's banter for you. I just came to steal the pic for the contest lol, and thought hey - why not leave a comment on your prettiful page.
I saw that you could use an AP brother or sister! I've got dibs on that! You already seem like fine company in the whole week or so I've known you LOL!
Nehoo, going to put together the contest details now, should be posted in 15 mins or so. I'll let you know as soon as I'm done!
    Best wishes always,
    Stacy

Thank you for the explainations of a Haiku and a Tanka. I often wondered but never had the courage to ask for fear of being considered an ignoramus....which I probably must be! Comes from leaving school at fifteen to go and fight a war. No kidding
