I know you get busy, particularly in the fall, but you've got WAY too much talent not to share it once in a while. And that is the truth!

And obviously you have taken two of my daughters as your nieces (Beth and Mal) so yup, you are my sister! Sorry I'm not "normal." LMAO! Anyways, hope all is well for you.

    ahhh... such a dreaming
  • Mos on July 23, 2005
I understand completely...now if we could just find a way to get rid of all the 'unbiased judgement' and favoritism, maybe some of us who write this way will actually win something. (smile)

  • AureateCorona on July 23, 2005
it is not cold to disassociate your feelings while you read. It is by unbiased judgement that you can truly find something that reaches beyond the average to touch the depths of emotion that are masked by the slanted perception of an impartial audience. If that makes any sense.
  • Mos on July 23, 2005
Note: Perhaps I am a bit cold as to critique the work of others as 'work' and not emotion? I can feel the emotion but I disassociate my own feelings while I read. Is that cold? Your comment. When a poem actually does touch me, it is then that I realise I am reading something with value. Lol...thanx for listening to me ramble on! Mos. again.

I love your take on poetry. Although some of my work is reflective of my own beliefs, I have to differ with you wherein all of my work is. Lots of my stuff is fictional and the way the subject feels in said poetry is non-reflective of myself. Just some insight, and keep writing. Mos.
  • unbeliever101 on July 13, 2005
wow. i love how completely honest you are. we've got a lot in common! that whole last paragraph under your style sounds like i wrote it! lol1 i can't believe your only 16, like me, cuz ur writing is so amazing, and i'm not trying to be all nicey-nice, i'm serious. you've got talent, girlie! keep on writing!
  • AureateCorona on July 13, 2005
I am wonderful... in the midst of a forbidden love and a bubbling and diverse social arena... life is troublesome and beautiful...
  • jaunty pill on July 12, 2005

    And how are you?

  • TinGirl on May 25, 2005
    Hiya!

Thanks for giving me a piece of gold! I honestly didn't think I'd win; there were many excellent poems in there, I only entered because I love the subject :-)

It was funny because I had two messages when I logged on. One was from a moderator telling me I'd be banned if I wasn't careful because I called someone a nazi for removing my poem from their contest, and the other message was saying that I won yours!!!

Ah well, you've cheered me up today. Hugs and kisses,

    Mina x
  • kirbysman on April 23, 2005
So, what are you up to lately?
  • kirbysman on February 20, 2005
Hey there Kerri, if you ever log in, I got a question for you. I've got a friend who teaches language arts at an elementary school and has asked me to talk to the kids about writing and poetry and things. Since I don't do free verse very often, can I borrow some of yours to use as examples for the kids? I'll just pick two or three of them. Maybe the grampa - grandaughter one and a couple of others. Paul

Don't forget that you are in control of your own dreams and what amazing dreams those will become....
