    About the whole dashboard thing, the music = ♥ thing means I love music, and I just put dashboard confessional under it as one of the bands I like, so you must’ve misinterpreted the information. Anyway, you say my poem is not original, and that you’ve read things like it over and over. Well, I don’t disagree with you that there are a lot of ones out there like that. Emo I mean [and just so you know, I don’t take offense to that word, because I am emotional, and I don’t think it’s a bad thing]. But every poem has some detail of originality in it. Mine, for example, is a true story. A story of my mom. If someone wrote something like it, they couldn’t necessarily say it was the life story of their mom, could they? My mom was on drugs for 10 years until she “accidentally” killed herself from overdosing on prescription painkillers when I was 12. I’m sorry for being a bitch when defending my writing, and I truly am sorry, but people shouldn’t piss me off when I’m PMSing and had gotten into a fight earlier in the day. So for the hot dog poems thing and whatever I wrote along with that, I’m sorry. And for your brutal honesty when critiquing my poem, I do welcome it even though I get pissed off from it. Ill be sure to go and comment on one of your poems now and say what I really think….toodaloo

    hello..ive read your poem and i dont think that you should put yourself up before others work, this site is made to encourage people to learn more not to make them feel bad....YOU should know because youre a poet and poets ARE emotional beings...good day..

    i dont know where you got the whole dashboard confessional is one of my favorite bands thing, because you dont even know me. but moving on, a person giving me a negative comment on AP, i can respect, but when its without reason, i just take it as someone who is so insecure about their writing [and in this case, i believe you should be...becuase from what i read, my 6 year old brother could write a better poem..about hot dogs no less] they need to give poor comments to other people to boost their self esteem about their works. so you know what? tell me why you dont consider my poem "real poetry". im dying to know.

    There's also an "add to favorites" link on every author page in the 'About Me' section.

    You go to 'settings'and there should be an option to add people to your favorites. Then just type in my name!
