    I love Mercedes, and OSC (he has a great website too: hatrack.com)! And yes, I did see Wicked, and although it wasn't with the origional cast I still thought it was amazing. (And I didn't actually pay much attention to the spelling of that song, I just copy-pasted the lyrics from a website... guess I'd better fix that)

    OMG YOU LIKE MERCEDES LACKEY(and orson scott card!?)!?!? i thought i was the only one... saw your dancing through life contest, slough, not sluff... did you see wicked? with the original cast of Edina and Christine and Norburt and Joel? or with... not the original cats?

    Thyanks for responding to so many of my poems. The Road was one of my earlier poems and it could use some work but... about the lines you critiqued the first I wish to keep, in my heart a sometimes song, because I wrote it that way deliberately not for archaic speech but more to show how sometimes you sing fragments of a song and then for no reason you stop and then begin again.I wanted that feeling. I will look at how better to write a twisting turning fright but you should know that I wrote this after travelling on an unfamiliar road and getting lost. The road twisted and turned and the trees seemed to bend in and crowd me. Thanks again for responding I appreciate your comments along with your critique.
