/Wonderous apparition
That your kind heart should touch me so,
I come around to let you know,
I have been blessed by the U S Mail,
What wonder does your love entail.
That moves my gladdened heart to pray,
That love and light should ever stay,
Precious Jesus meek and mild,
Shelter ye this women child.
Touch her heart that she might shine,
As brightly as she does in mine.
Hold her close for all her years,
Teach her joy, and dry her tears.
I wept for the road, and my dusty shoes,
The heavey load we cant refuse,
Dreamed I loved and knew not shame,
Said a prayer that said your name,
For all the joy that I am wishin,
For my wonderous apparition.

hey Maddie. thanks for dropping by on this lovely summer night.
for me it's not crepe myrtle. I sit beneath a magnolia tree in the
backyard, with carolina jasmine growing on the trellis behind me.
but I see the same sky up there between the trees.

the stars at night are big and bright, deep in the heart of Texas.

Hi Maddie, thanks for all that. And I share your thoughts on how wonderful it is to inspire one another. That's exactly what I have been talking about with respect to the sharing. It can lead to insight and or creative juices which spawn poems, which in turn reveal insights. Such a delicious circle. Writing poetry/songs and all else that happens here is such a fulfilling part of my life and folks like you are a big part of that. Thank you.

Still trying to get settled in, have been very sick since I got here ugg! Today was the first day I've felt good and got most of my stuff unpacked. Kind of stinks I've been sick ... still haven't had a chance to meet up with Travis but I'm sure that will change soon. City life is great ... nice being downtown near everything ... can't wait until I'm feeling 100% so I can hit the town! Thanks again for the warm welcome!

Liz and Travis...you two,,,are just so cute...thanks for how you both make me smile...just by being playful. We can take life so seriously...and I know you have reason to be there with me..down in the doldroms...but you aren't..and you both draw me out...and before I know it...I see things differently. Even snails...and spring fever...yepp...I am just fixing to smile...can't help myself....you both are awesome...thanks for not letting me molt..and for pulling me back from the brink...though you didn't even know it.

hellooooooo Maddie! i'm really glad you let me in on it cuz i hadn't the slightest clue! I'm really sad that i'll probably never even get to see that sunset cuz i live in shitty ol' illinois, but someday, when i don't have two jobs and go to schoool full time, and gather up enough money: i'll go travel. until then, no beautiful sunset seen while driving west on a bridge

ah well, there are some beautiful sunsets here too, but none of them are a secret, you just have to be observant to the sky during different times of dusk.
