~Another Face

Another face, a rusted train,
another madman in the pouring rain.

Another town, the same' 'ol man.
New cardboard box, a new garbage can.

He just wants to be left alone,
the whole world's been doing him wrong.
He wants to live on the dark side of the moon, alone, he mumbles the words to this song.

And the rain keeps falling as
lightning splits the night.
He attempts a wry smile
as he ties his soul to a kite.

From the highest rooftop in the city
he peeled wet socks from his feet.
He mumbled,"Please, please forgive me",
and he landed real hard in the street.

(He was just...)

Steff, no matter what you say about yourself, no matter how you feel, I will always love you. We have grown apart and it kills me, but I understand that you have moved on. I have too, but I still have those moments where I break down and cry because I miss you so much.
