Iron plates tapped on forehead,
clink, clink, goes the hammer ...
a wall, seemingly undisturbed,
perturbed, absorbed warmth's
prudence ... a palm spinning
cured colorless cordials ...
cherries of black, shadows
char pertinence, presumption
that light would balance
but starry specks never
poke through death's sentence.

Gooses lose purses,
pursue posse's floral
floundering in moat,
that smote martyrdom's
marauder.

Mort loved
toes and fingers,
bones that clink
on metal tables
and fashionable
dog tags.

Somber slumber
felt inklings of
well oiled feathers
quilled into goose-flesh,
fresh death certificates issued.

to pray and fillet
fishes of prey ...
play, on words, a gay
tray of perhaps,
traps melee unturned
burned in unison,
twisted in monsoons-
soons or nevers, cruel
pull within pedestal pools,
wet behind ears where
pear's fuzzy lair
couldn't smooth out
the pouting banana.

In the darkness she lurks,
perks of ears tremble lips,
spill shrills tone as loquacious pitters
pour liquid sunshine upon
pawns of portrait's pre-empt ...
treacherously uniting moon and tide.
