  Im realllllly sorry about how long its taking. I have a LOT of entries but it started because I live in Florida and we got hit with hurricane Jeanne. I lost power for 1 week and by time I got it back and checked here I had one too many entries. I am judging poems now and the contest will end very soon. I am so sorry and I can totally understand your upset. Thank you for being so patient.

  I logged on to find your sweet comment about me.. I always look over my shoulder when people say I am a good writer like who they talking to.. I know that sounds strange but I think I am a weird writer, I have a thought and start typing. That is it, sometimes I am laughing, sometimes I am crying. That is it, oh and Even anger comes out lol.. I read your words about emotions so you seem to see it as well, I have a feeling that is what all of us do, though forms ? Shakes head nah not for me, I think you have to think to much to concentrate on your actual feelings but again, opinions are like heads we all have 'em. So what writing of mine got your attention?   hi, thanks for the contest... i hope you dont mind if i just tell you one of my thoughts... i LOVED the winning poem, but i just think its wrong that the winning poem really had nothing to do with what the contest was about. doesnt that kind of defeat the purpose of making criteria for a contest? why not say this contest is poems about ANYTHING?
  
  anyway thats my only complaint, otherwise i dug the contest. thanks again!

  I was just reading over some of my comments and i came across yours, i guess i missed it, cuz i never read it. That's SOOO cool that you come from the same area as seether! such a GREAT band. They just started coming on the radio up her in Mas. SUCKS, i like when bands are all mine and know one else knows them, now all my friends are singing seether. haha.

  I was so glad to see your contest. My first contest was on favorite childhood memories. I had some wonderful entries....and had a very difficult time deciding. Good luck, I couldn't help but enter my favorite childhood memory...well, one of them anyway. The other is about skunk hunting...but that will have to wait for another time, because I discovered your contest too late in the game. cheryl

  Wow, great taste in music, and I am even prouder cause you have Seether up there and as a proud South African I am happy that our boys are doing well... Just miss them though, used to love watching them perform, actually a few years ago when they were still called Saron Gas my friend had a whole load of beers lined up outside a gig and the lead singer came up and asked him for one, and my friend being the person he is said no, and later saw this guy on stage, he's really cussing himself now. Anyway just felt like sharing that.

  thank you for commenting on my poetry. I appreciate your reading and taking the time to write some thoughts regarding your concept. I've been writing poetry for many years, and sometimes the form assumes rhythm/rhyme...sometimes it assumes free verse (which isn't really free because of the restrictions which I place upon it.)........but in either case, it does express the feelings in my heart. Your words of encouragement are dear to me and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
