One thing to remember is no matter what anyone says in negative terms about you or your poetry, weigh it closely, use what you can to improve, but please don't take it personally even if they want you too. Either ignore them or dismiss it for a snit-fit and put yourself above the possible pettiness of their statements. Most you will discover honestly mean well but sometimes have trouble conveying their thoughts and feelings in a way that you may be accustomed to hearing(reading).
