Adebesin, Thanks for taking an interest in and commenting on a few of my poems. You are a very observant man and seem to look for the nuances within a poem, which I try to fold into anything I write. I strive to craft poetry that offers reward for a surface reading and also at a deeper level of meaning for those who dig for it. There are many ways to do this: reading other poet’s work, entering into contests, joining classes and / or reading works from AllPoetry’s sister site www.oldpoetry.com .
As a new member, you will notice that you have a 4-day trial Preferred Membership. Once those four days are up, don’t worry, you will still be able to post your work, and comment on other’s work as well, you just won’t have the perks that a membership provides to you. If you are interested in maintaining your membership, you can purchase one from our Store.
Free members of AllPoetry get two “free posts” per day, then must comment 4 times for each item posted. Those items include: poems, stories, contest poems, and contests, but not lists.
