Yes , I realise we are still in November but I just suddenly had a rush of Christmassy joy run over me so I thought I'd share a piece with you all.
I look forward to Greeter training and hope I get a fantastic Christmas present when asked to join the team.
Take care all

I have entered the December contest, but I do not see my entry? Do I need to re-submit?
Thanks

I was wondering how one went about becoming a greeter?

I had joined October 10 but never have entered into a new poet contest. May I enter your new member November contest? If not, I do understand. Thanks.

I was never greeted, and I'm not a new member. But, I haven't gone on a long time. =)

Wow I said it before, and I'll say it again, you greeters are absolutely amazing. Thank you so much for welcoming me to this site several thousand times and for reading and critiquing so much of my poetry! I have found your answers to my questions helpful and knowledgeable. Thanks so much for hosting such a fun contest and for selecting my poem out of so many other fantastic writes. I am truly grateful!
Thank you, thank you, thank you:

Thank-you for the contests. The one I entered gave me a chance to write about my memories that I otherwise would have just forgotten, and it ended up putting me in the Christmas mood, despite personal problems. Thank-you so much. I adore this site, I'm so glad I found it. Thank-you for everything and keep up the good work. You all take care.

This account is not belonging to any one person... this is an account used by ALL greeters on the website to host contests and write columns of interest for the members, that is why there are only 33 comments.
-
I am so pleased to be a small part of this large group.
Here, I feel at ease to submit my poems, knowing that
any comments offered to my work, will only enhance my
writing "career". Thank you for allowing me to be able
to share my poems with all of you. At this present time,
I am not in a financial position to join as a paying
member. I hope to rectify this some time in the future.
Until that time, I am so very happy to just be here with
all of you. Thank you for this opportunity!

The easiest way to give someone the link to your author page on AllPoetry is to copy and paste it directly from the address bar at the top of your browser. But, make sure you are on your main author page before doing this.
If you have any other questions, please contact one of the Greeter Team members directly: allpoetry.com/greeters This screen name is used mainly for hosting our New Members monthly contests and is not “manned” by one person in particular.

i was just wondering....how does one become a greeter?

Well I just want to say thank you to the greeters and lioness for being so helpful when I was clueless as to what is going on with the overwhelming things I encountered here...I’ve even been to sites of some of you guys and saw lovely things to boot. I’ve not had much time to get around this vast site yet but in time I will... I love putting my writings in here and giving my poetic critiques to others...so again I am ecstatic about the whole affair...
Huggs ya all

Has anyone noticed that the majority of greeters, moderators and site helpers are from America? I realise that there are probably more americans using the site than other nationalities, but that may be due to the fact that AMerica is a much larger place than most others. Is there any chance of having more nationalities represented please? It reflects well on the site in terms of equality. Toodles xxx

Sweetypie - AP Greeters is exactly what you thought. Our Team hold monthly contests (2 for December) and we use this name as a collective one for all of us.
You'll find informative pieces here that have either been written by current and/or past Greeter Team members which still hold value today.
Thanks for your visit. Look out for our All AP contest in December.

actually i jsut clicked to this page because the 'poet' name confused me. lol, do you guys all just use this as like... a name to make contests and group posts under?
this is acutally a cool idea and very helpful to the newbies! good job guys! (it did seem a little skitzo at first glance thou kinda like me signing something "your friends")
