I salute you for your strength and for your faith in God. You are pretty strong for your age and you had touched me with your poems. I am a Christian also and I believe that God can heal our pains if we just hold on to him. Keep writing. Your poetry has touched alot of people. Most of all, strive to be happy always, I know it is hard to do but you can lighten other people's lives even by just looking at you. Cheers!

Wow, you definitely have had such a difficult life...you're extrememly strong for overcoming all of it and I greatly look up to you for it. My dad too was diagnosed with cancer...he is still living thank god. Sorry doesnt even begin to describe how sympathetic I am for you. I know what it's like to have to live with the word "cancer" in your life, what it's like for best friends to move away, to deal with suicidal friends, and to feel suicidal yourself. Even in MY hardest times, I never lost my faith in God...even though I wanted to. You were more than smart to keep believing in him!! Everything happens for a reason...even if we cant always find the reason. Hang in there...everything will get better!! And your poetry is fantastic (just thought I'd add that in Chin up!!

    ~Devils Angel

P.S. I show horses competitively too!! Coincidence...very cool!

Hi there! I see you've had some rough times. I can give one reason: so that you have an understanding of this pain and can sympathize with others who go through it, and even lead them to Christ.

It's great to meet a fellow Christian, especially one that's true to the faith, obviously having been through trials. They cement the relationship between us and our Lord.

Here are some great quotes that I've gathered up:
Avoid fruits and nuts. You are what you eat. ~Garfield
Amateurs built the ark. Professionals built the Titanic.
Reality is the leading cause of stress.
Deliver me from evil but leave my chocolate alone.
    God always answers knee mail.
I'm not lost, I've just changed my destination!

I'm glad I read your quotes, I'm gonna add them to the ones on my website.
I love quotes! You can read some more at The Joke Closet - http://www.shoptcs.com/cjp/cjp_index.htm

Anyway, I look forward to being able to chat with you. I believe we have a few things in common (like a screen name with horses in it)! You've had a harder life than me, for sure, but mine hasn't been a picnic either. I think we could find a lot to talk about.

Look forward to hearing back from you. *smile*

I believe in the sun even when it is not shining.
I believe in love even when I do not feel it.
I believe in God even when He is silent.

I am so very sorry for your losses. It has to be extremely hard. I can't say I understand exactly what you're going through. I have been through a lot of hard times though and I know more to come. Just keep your faith in God, He will help you through! I'm happy you haven't lost your faith in Him as many people would have. Good job!

Hello. I was drawn to read your author's page. Newsy, and well written with clarity, the content nearly made me cry. I'm awfully sorry that you lost a parent while you are so young and needful of her. I had the privilege of having my parents till they are older, but my darly father took the Saviour's hand on October 17 of last year. I was there..I watching him slowly take the crest of the ship and sail away from us..inch by inch. ...breath by ...........breath. It was precious, however sad. I was at peace knowing he didn't have to lose anymore of his memory (he was school Prof who was a wonderful father and was doomed with Alzheimer's)
Just to think. He was there when I drifted into his life. I was there when he drifted out.

Bless you so much. I am anxious to read your work. Keep up the fantastic following of the Lord Jesus Christ, whose death voided our voids!

    Warmly, CookieZeal

Hi Ashley I'm sorry about your mother I know losing someone close to you is really tough, I've lost quite a few people dearest to me. Yes God is Good! It's just amazing how much He's transformed my life. Just stick with your Faith, and hold on to your Strength, things will seem to get better, you'll be in my prayers and thoughts. I'm off to bed, so Goodnight and have a peaceful rest
