Time for an update!
I'm still Vicky, still in college studying English, Art history, and history.... and loving it.
I love;
my apartment, my double bed, when my baby is with me in that double bed, my hot water bottle, mint tea, tequilla, barcode, my LBD, john players 100s, my laptop, photos, my friends, my baby (yup yup it's love alright. Wouldn't change him for the world), J.K.Rowlingon audiobook on my ipod,Ben & Jerry's vanilla toffee crunch, grilled halloumi cheese sangiges, being allowed to refer to a sandwich as a sangige because I'm from Tipp, being allowed to be a piromaniac because I'm from Tipp, the fact that I am from Tipp,My thurles girls, my 'sheelan boys, drinking in the ormonde castle on a saturday with my mates, going out in dublin, everything about dublin, cold dry winter mornings when I'm up at 6, dundrum shopping centre, butlers chocolate in particular; vodka nad cranberry and the white hot chocolates. Donny when he make me breakfast after a rough night out, the winding stair bookshop over the ha'penny bridge, templebar market, DunLaoighre sunday market, Raych's kittens, all my dogs, my Ma and Da cause they're saints for putting up with my bullshit.
Life lessons are hard leart but I can honestly say I would not change a single thing that has happened in the last few months because it has led me to the most wonderful people in the world.
"If you have enemies- good! It means you actually stood up for something in your life"
People come and go and things change. Sometimes the worst experience in your life can be the best thing that ever happened to you, and sometimes you have to walk through hell just to see who is still standing beside you at the end. And yes sometimes even what seems like a good thing will fall apart, but maybe that's just so that something even better can come together.
I will never forget the people who have stood by me. And equally I will never forget the people who didn't. But all I have to say to those people is thank you, thank you for making me recognise the true value of a friend.
