The gaggling gathering of ghastly ghouls
Death and decay, they dribble and drool -
Trick or Treat the young ones call
as they go door to door -
The moon is dark and clouds are gray
above the house right by the black sea... -
the streets are quiet and empty

Witches around the corner
Goblins at each house -

Home alone without a phone ,
I hear the wind howl out side, -

Hollow sounds search night’s darkened corners;
Determined to create stark fear -
I heard they were having the annual witch's ball,
and I they cordially invited me, warts and all, -
Start with a cauldron, and bubbling juice,
Throw in some talons from Mother Goose, -
The sun, she was setting
The air smelled sweet -
Death here is like lighting a candle.
Their wicks are cut close to the base, -
So this was written because I was bored. The last stanza is true though. When I was about 9 or 10 somebody burned a barn down on Halloween
