My Mermaid of the sea How beautiful you are
-
-
Out there somewhere
The ship once sailed,
-
-
Dedicated to twin moon gazers!
-
We were well met that sunset, my bleached dress,
-
the waves crash and break
-
The little waves that give our boat its motion
Are cousins to the crash of winter's storms
-
I tentatively tiptoe towards the home
Full of stories of romance and shipwrecks
-
I'll sing of a siren who lives in the waves,
Enchantress of the ocean and the shores,
-
-
My compass, my helm.
Unchallenging of destination
-
Silently I sing a Swedish sea shanty.
Of shores, sailors and sunken ships...
-
A wise man once told me a story of two ships at sea.
These two ships argued over the water.
-
The barren, chalky cliffs and sun-drenched sand,
Where sea-gulls tear the sky while circling,
-
This is about a boat that capsized
This is when people went over board
-
oft i dream of scatered wave, that pale blue hope of suffocation.
turning blue to match the sea, so vain the hope of suffered breath.

Cold. Blue cold. The sea at night.
The wet pebbles, glistening.
-
Ripples on your surface glisten;
Your friend, the Sun, is wide awake.

'Song of Mermaids.' A short poem exposing how much many people are jealous of each other, and need to just help to make world peace.
-
'God's Favorite Book.' A short extended metaphor poem.

I wrote this whilst on a cruise. I don't know what to consider it.
-
This was an assignment for my creative writing class in high school. We had to write a poem about an animal.

On the windswept edge
where land meets water,
-
It's night and you're by my side,
I can't help but wonder what you're thinking.

Oh how I loved the walks by the sea,
Oh how I liked the times of you and me,
-
I awake to the ocean tides,
Running to the sandy shore.
-
-
Crashing close to madness are the waves inside her head.
To the harbour wall she's struggled where the call of night has lead.
-
In between the races where the tide must ebb and flow;
There's a calmer stretch of water where few normal people go.
-
I hunger for a place to belong
A place floating peacefully

How very softly the Sea rolls in
As the Sun begins to set
-
We beat our rythm; turbulent and deep,
As the drumbs bombard in the air,

everything a water
laid in curvilinear beds
-
For so long crept in calmest blue and barren-sanded beat?
Then taken by the foot and choked, below
-
-
The beautiful Sky blue Ocean
Is turning up some terrible waves
-
A golden glimmering sunset
Heaven connecting with earth
-
-
-
Tinge of chilled embrace coils to tantalize
Lonesome willow, hands outstretched in praise
-
You’re my castle in the sand,
Pebbled soldiers at your side;
-
Listen to the lapping waves,
Hear the serpent sigh?
