Time is funny old thing. It doesn’t change or go any faster only our perception of it. Whilst you wait for that holiday you’ve been looking forward to it can seem to take forever.

Ripped open the seam
of night, to search

Somewhere in the past, is the world of yesteryear.
The road continues just beyond the bend.

Like my own memory of someone dead, not they themselves,
I feel, much like a child prodigy disguised by his body of an adult.

With ball of brown we did our feats
In barefoot cleats on gravel streets
