On Halloween Night,
there's a knock at your door
-
-
Awakened from a soothing sleep
unable was I to recapture peace.
-
Hopes were high at Harvest Moon,
A festival that ends too soon.
-
The gaggling gathering of ghastly ghouls Death and decay, they dribble and drool
-
Trick or Treat the young ones call as they go door to door
-
The moon is dark and clouds are gray
above the house right by the black sea...
-
the streets are quiet and empty you walk up to a door in your witch costume
-
Chickadee sings, north wind blows,
-
'Neath the moon all hallows eve, we come out to dance for we are Pan and Pan is I and we must sow our seed.

A poem about adults going crazy and killing demons that come out on halloween but cannot tell between the demons and their children dressin

This poem was written by my seven year old sister. I did not help her.

Gossamer veils grow thinnest
between dualistic worlds as
-
This shadow It begins to make her blood

In the dankest pit
a gruesome being languishes,
-
-
The witch is in her cave with an audience of bats.
-
The night is full And the moon is round
-
Ghouls, goblins, witches and frights These are the creatures of Halloween night.

The moon is out!
Halloween night is

"Nothing on Earth so beautiful as the final haul on Halloween night."
Or so I once thought.

Home alone without a phone , I hear the wind howl out side,

Hollow sounds search night’s darkened corners; Determined to create stark fear

I heard they were having the annual witch's ball,
and I they cordially invited me, warts and all,

Start with a cauldron, and bubbling juice, Throw in some talons from Mother Goose,

The sun, she was setting
The air smelled sweet

Death here is like lighting a candle. Their wicks are cut close to the base,

So this was written because I was bored. The last stanza is true though. When I was about 9 or 10 somebody burned a barn down on Halloween
-
We feed, we bleed, give you our misdeeds
For we are the children of deceit
-
I lie in my grave all year and wait,
For my family reunion on Halloween,

this is how the world comes to an end and this is how your neighbors learn to rend
