I am a 42 year old housewife and mother to three teenagers, all very different and all very opinionated, so much lively debate goes on in this house. I am on husband No.2, a lovely man who is quite willing to take over the running of the house when I am lost in a book or piece of writing. I don't work at the moment as I also care for my elderly mother, a full time job in its self. I am a lover of the written word and indulge my passion when ever possible, I am not a literary snob, I will read anything, from a cereal box to War and Peace, but I do draw the line at letters from the bank manager. I have been writing short stories and poetry almost all my life, I find it a great form of stress relief, getting all my emotions out of my head and down on paper really does help. I can't say that I have a particular style, it is just how I feel at the time of writing, but I do try and inject some humour into my work, as I love to laugh and make others laugh.Please make allowances for any spelling mistakes as I am a dyslexic, and much as I love my trusty spellchecker it doesn't always pick up on variant spellings, such as heart and hart, which and witch, etc. Finally thank you for taking the time to read my work, I hope you enjoy my poems, most are written from experience, all are written from the heart. (correct spelling)
