I am a 24 year old single mom of a beautiful blonde haired, blue eyed 4 year old son. I have moved around all my life, mostly throughout the southeast, but Louisiana is where I call home. I have been writing poetry since I was 12. Poetry and music have always been my way of expressing my emotions. I love to write lyrics but rarely have the time to devote to a full song. So I tend to write poetry more often than lyrics. I haven't written in awhile, so I'm looking forward to getting back in my groove.

PrincessOfFire on October 18, 2006I see you once lived in La.. What happened was tragic, I had friends who went through the displacement and all too. Life is fickle, we never know what tomorrow holds. We can only pray there is a future. With todays technology all will be repaired.
It will take time, but good comes with time. This time it has a chance to make it better. I can't even to begin to think of what all felt. But I'm there to help now and I feel thats what counts most. We are God's family and we will bound together.

You should check out my American Idol poem, I personally like it..(BIAS) I tried out and made it to the third round but no further for this year. NEXT YEAR.
