Words of Wisdom
"I will not die an unlived life.
I will not live in fear
of falling or catching fire.
I choose to inhabit my days,
to allow my living to open me,
to make me less afraid,
more accessible,
to loosen my heart
until it becomes a wing,
a torch, a promise.
I choose to risk my significance,
to live so that which came to me as seed
goes to the next as blossom,
and that which came to me as blossom,
goes on as fruit."
~Dawna Markova
Isn't this just beautiful. It reminds me of my husband, "Deercatcher". He says things like this. Check out his poetry.
"A friend is someone who knows the song in your heart and can sing it back to you when you have forgotten the words."
It is an awesome thing, when that friend is also your lover.
The more articulate one is, the more dangerous words become.

PetrifiedAfforded : How Much Is That Doggie In The Window? on November 19, 2006Hello with no collars up but accolades :
strongerthanever I thought of your profile page and deercatcher's comment there in conjuction with his poem, Gone To Market, when lyricsally something reminded me of "How Much Is That Doggie In The Window" and it was colloidal from there recalling your scenario when I refreshed myself on that song!
Whether close away or in California, that turquoise behind the terrier tears the heart out for the bark to not be behaved in the boutique as the distraction until you're back. But a woof can't really make one not think where is love.
I am vicariously feeling it a little too around here.
Just trying to not make my checking up on you cagey.
Unleashed smiles heeled,

XxLiVeYoUrLiFexX on August 15, 2006awe, thank you for the lovely comment on my poem. i am so glad that it touched your heart, that was exactly my intention when writing that piece. i am so very sorry for the loss of your sister. i have a sister and we are very close, i can only imagine how hard it must have been to lose her.
but you are an amazing person/writer, and if you ever need anything just let me know. Like i said before, I am thrilled that my poem made you happy.
Take care <3
