I love comic books and anything in the superheroic fantasy genre (including "supe opera" TV shows like Smallville, Buffy/Angel, and even Tarzan and Birds of Prey). I would love to write comic books but have no drawing ability and I lack the temperament for collaboration. I have signed up to have a venue to write my serialized fiction in... I've tried this on my own in the past but always got bogged down in HTML formatting and trying to maintain a webpage at the same time as writing regular updates. So thank you, storywrite.com!
Most of my work here is intended to reflect many of the realities of a comic book universe in prose form. Expect the story to eventually cover everything from campy humor to gothic horror. Most of the installments will advance a large, overarcing plot, but there will also be side stories to break up the action.
I also will take advantage of this site as an outlet for my lame, little attempts at poetry when I need to get something out of me.
