I'm Kayla LaNae Hiemstra, and I come from a family of artist.
No, none of them are famous, we just all have our talents. Mine would be writing, whether it's a poem or a story, I can usually come up with a topic and go for the goal.
So, I'm currently living in this really small town in the middle of nowhere. It really should be called Nowhere, South Dakota. But it is not and there's nothing I can do to change that. And you know what, it doesn't bother me as much as it used to. Why? Because I have some of the greatest friends in the world. There's Chandra, who has respectfully earned the title of bestie. There's my friend Heather in Texas who keeps telling me that when this place stops feeling like home, I'm always welcome in hers. But mostly, it doesn't bother me because it's where my parents are, my family, and that right there means everything to me
