WHO I AM: Sometimes I wonder why I'm here, what purpose do I serve,
where am I going and what will I find there when I get there?
I guess I can say there are many sides to me, The one to help you up
if you fall, The one to give you my time if you need a helping hand,
the one to share thoughts with no matter how bizarre, and I will
take the time to listen to your problems if I'm able to.
I am also known to shy away from conflict, walk out on an argument,
or talk down an argument if it starts to get out off hand.
I am not judgmental, nor do I believe one should use violence to
get a point across. But mess with my head and nothing will save
you from the disaster I'll bring down on you. No only joking,
violence only adds more violence. I believe everyone should treat
everybody with love and kindness:
no matter what color your skin,
no matter what you believe in,
no mater what you look like,
no matter what car you drive,
no matter how old or young you are,
no matter how rich or poor you are,
no matter who taunted you
at school, at home, at the office, in the park or playground.
If you do the same as your tormentor, then you are no better.
Get even but don't follow in their footsteps. If you read my poetry,

you will see I use profanity sometimes, though in real life I never

swear, not at all. Poetry allows me to say things I could never say

to anyone, it gives me the freedom to be somebody I am not, a

man of many faces, many voices.  I'm not here to write a book

on my life so I'll move on....

MUSIC: I love a whole range of music, everything from ABBA to
Frank Zappa. CD that's getting heaps of plays at the moment,
Madonna - Hard Candy. The biggest percentage in a genre is my
heavy metal collection, At least half my collection is comprised
of heavy metal. Bands and singers I've seen live on stage
include: Metallica, AC/DC, Plant and Page, Alice Cooper, Kiss,
Ozzy Osbourne, Jimmy Barnes, Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, Divinyls,
Whitesnake, Village People, Patti Smith, Suzi Quatro, The Police,
Offspring, Marilyn Manson, Hole, Pearl Jam, Baby Animals, Mi-Sex,
Meat Loaf, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, John Fogerty, Deep Purple
Gloria Estefan, Bourbon Street, The Poor Boys and lots more

Heavy metal CD that is getting heaps of plays at the moment,
Metallica - DEATH MAGNETIC. My fave heavy metal bands are in no
particular order, Guns & Roses, Metallica, AC/DC, Led Zeppelin,
Aerosmith, Manowar, Alice Cooper, Kiss, Ozzy Osbourne and
many others. I also dig the sounds of Hole, Red Hot Chile Peppers,
Queen, Nirvana, Stevie Nicks, Bruce Springsteen, Tina Turner
The Rolling Stones, Tori Amos, Neneh Cherry, Gloria Estefan and
the list goes on...

I live for music, have over 700 CD's in my collection.
Without music there is nothing but deep silence, like the dead
do not hear, do not fear, do not anything. Music fills the soul
with emotions and makes me feel alive in the moment.

POETRY: I started writing poetry in the early ninety's, and over

270 poems later, I am still writing. A great many are still yet to

be submitted here at All Poetry, in time I'm sure my old poems

I'll submit for all you fine people to read. At the moment I'm

focused on writing new poetry, and dark writes I tend to give

more creadence to, for there darkness reigns deep within, and I

like to challenge myself to write poetry drawn from the darkest

corners of my mind. War is a favorite, as is abuse of any kind,

any topic that I write about I approach with passion,.....I will add

more here later.

Attitude

There once was a woman who woke up one morning,

looked in the mirror,

and noticed she had only three hairs on her head.

'Well,' she said, 'I think I'll braid my hair today.'

So she did and she had a wonderful day.

The next day she woke up,

looked in the mirror

and saw that she had only two hairs on her head.

'H-M-M,' she said,

'I think I'll part my hair down the middle today.'

So she did and she had a grand day.

The next day she woke up,

looked in the mirror and noticed

that she had only one hair on her head.

'Well,' she said, 'today I'm going

to wear my hair in a pony tail.'

So she did, and she had a fun, fun day.

The next day she woke up,

looked in the mirror and noticed

that there wasn't a single hair on her head.

'YAY!' she exclaimed.

'I don't have to fix my hair today!'

Attitude is everything.

Be kinder than necessary,

for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.

Live simply,

Love generously,

Care deeply,

Speak kindly.......

Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass...

It's about learning to dance in the rain.

What's the name of this poem?

Of course I love ya darlin
You're a bloody top-notch bird

And when I say you're gorgeous
I mean every single word
So ya bum is on the big side
I don't mind a bit of flab
It means that when I'm ready
There's somethin there to grab

So your belly isn't flat no more

I tell ya, I don't care
So long as when I cuddle ya
I can get my arms round there

No  sheila who is your age
Has nice round perky breasts
They just gave in to gravity
But I know ya did ya best

I'm tellin' ya the truth now
I never tell ya lies
I think its very sexy
That you've got dimples on ya thighs

I swear on me nanna's grave now
The moment that we met
I  thought you was as good as
I was ever gonna get

No matter what u look like
I'll always love ya dear
Now shut up while the footy's on
And fetch another beer.

I didn't write this poem, it was sent to me via email

So to author who wrote this........... WHERE THE BLOODY HELL ARE YOU?

 ------------------------------------------------------------------------

YOU KNOW YOU ARE LIVING IN 2009 when...

1. You accidentally enter your PIN on the microwave.

2. You haven't played solitaire with real cards in years.

3. You have a list of 15 phone numbers to reach your family of three.

4. You e-mail the person who works at the desk next to you.

5. Your reason for not staying in touch with friends and family is that they don't have e-mail addresses.

6. You pull up in your own driveway and use your cell phone to see if anyone is home to help you carry in the groceries.

7. Every commercial on television has a web site at the bottom of the screen

8. Leaving the house without your cell phone, which you didn't even have the first 20 or 30 (or 60) years of your life, is now a cause for panic and you turn around to go and get it.

10. You get up in the morning and go on line before getting your coffee.

11. You start tilting your head sideways to smile. : )

12. You're reading this and nodding and laughing.

13. Even worse, you know exactly to whom you are going to forward this message.

14. You are too busy to notice there was no #9 on this list.

15. You actually scrolled back up to check that there wasn't a #9 on this list.
