Sorry I haven't been around to support my favorite people and their work, been a little busy as you can imagine!!

This is from my bro Shakes-spear:

The value that you have to me,
Far exceeds the price of gold.
It's greater than a simple need,
Or anything you've been told.

We all have had our mistakes,
No one is perfect, you see.
You know I'd do whatever it takes,
To show what you mean to me.

The words you write so sweetly
Bring a smile to my face.
I hope you know completely,
You, no one could replace.

You may think, you don't mean a thing,
But you're value is so great.
I read and then, my heart sings,
And many are able to relate.

We don't always leave a note,
But we read everything you write.
Remember being in the same boat,
And fighting the same fight.

Then again, maybe not exactly,
All stories have their own twists.
For every golden rule we have,
The opposite does exist.

No battle that's easy to win,
Has ever gotten much participation.
Those that are, without sin,
Should worry about investigation.

Don't devalue your significance,
Hard to mend a broken heart.
For me you always make sense,
I've loved you from the start.

So remember as you fall to sleep,
My prayers will be with you!
I pray my Lord, your soul to keep,
I thank the Lord for you!'.

My Lovely Spamwitch

I've a beautiful lady named spamwitch
who comes to me in my dreams.
She walks the night and haunts me
as the stars and the moon do gleam.

One night I hope to awaken
to this vision in my arms.
It is my hope she will bless me
with all her breathtaking charms.

Oh, spamwitch, my lovely enchantress,
won't you come to me this night?
I'll gather you in my arms
and with your magic we'll take flight.

Away we will fly on moonbeams
and glide through millions of stars,
until we have gone far, far away
and made a lovely star ours.

I lost my mother May 24, 2003 to a rare Cancer called Small Cell Carcinoma. She was diagnosed in February and gone by May. I was very proud of the way she handled it all though, she was very brave all the way to the end.  

This is Mom the month before she died, note the smile on her face.




Yellow roses were her absolute favorite. For her service, everyone came with a single yellow rose to signify the role of love she played in their lives. We decorated the front table of the hall where her memorial was held with yellow roses as well.

Then in 1997, they were re-married, because the Catholic Church refused to bless the first one... not anymore!!!






I live with my father now, he has been sick for a long time. He has been on Hospice and released not once, but twice. During the time of my mother's illness, was the last time. They were actually put on Hospice the same day. He suffers from COPD and CHF. He has had two strokes, but he goes on. He is an amazing person, and I am very proud of him. So, in my not always so much free time, I like to spend it here.

I have found some really wonderful writers on this site. Below is my official AP family:

*Quoth, my boyfriend, well, I think we are soon to break up. He hasn't been on in a couple of months, so I may be in the market. Don't worry though, even while we were together, we agreed on an open relationship. That was mainly due to his devilish, yet charming, flirtatious nature.

Sherry quickly became one of my best friends on this site. She is very supportive of her friends, and is there to assist in an instant. She is a warm spirit, that lives to satisfy the needs of others, and lives her life selflessly. Her talent is far beyond my expectations, and her writing style has many variations. Sherry I am so glad to have made your aquaintance, and I adore you sis.

He's a compassionate soul, and a wonderful writer. No matter what the subject, you can count on an enjoyable read. She is already very good, and is likely to blow us all away very soon. She's a bit of a spitfire, but her heart is in the right place, and will welcome you with open arms. Wendy and I have like minds for sure. She's a talent to have you laugh on your darkest day. I started reading her work almost as soon as she joined AP and was hooked from the beginning. We've had many late night chats (really I think we were both getting drunk ) Always an ear for you if needed. Thank you sister, I have had great fun with you. Sister: Veronica Cross allpoetry.com/poets/Veronica%20Cross Becky is one of the first people I met here on the site. From the beginning there was a bond of sisterhood. If I had an issue I always knew I could IM her for a chat. She has a great way of comforting others. She's had a very difficult life, and has overcome much. Her writing is always sincere, and of true life events. If you read her work, it is surely to draw a tear. She is a very thoughtful woman, and now has links for audio for all of her work, so the blind may enjoy their stay here as well. Thanks Becky for being a dear friend.

Sister: Trapped-inside allpoetry.com/poets/Trapped-inside Emma is a 15 year old who has many talents. Her poetry is straight from the heart, and asks very valid life questions. She often feels mis-understood, but is working her way to understand her purpose here. Her poetry is both emotional, and varies from deep to very light hearted. She is an awsome young lady who offers love and friendship in an instant and is always very supportive to her fellow writers. Thanks Emma, for wanting to be in my AP life.
