I play with words not expecting to reach any specific destination. Somewhere along the road... some of those words have fallen together in some form of poetry. I have no formal training as you can breeze through my work and see! Most of this is for fun and a mere form of expression. It seems to follow what is going on in my life at the time. Relationship issues from boyfriends to family and friends seem to be the leader of topics for now. Much of the poetry I have written has to do with how I imagine another is feeling, not necessarily myself, although there is certainly some work that has spilled from my own experiences or heart onto the pages.
Miracles of life happen everyday, for me...October 30th 2006 when my grandaughter Alexa Nicole was born. Incredible experience to witness my Son bring forth instinctive nurturing to this child of his...protective and just when he thinks he couldn't love her anymore, another sun rises and moon sets. Watching him with her is not only amazing to me, but leaves me with a solid feeling that I raised him well. *pats self on back* ha!
I don't ever want to forget these feelings!
