Soldiersoul• Show poetry

Dashing rogue with quill in one hand and a pool cue in the other. Always been a creative sort which began with simple poetry but now I lean toward writing fiction. Gotta admit I've got serious bite sometimes. Not a fella to be crossed. lol...had my share of venom spittin' with some of these folks who seem to think LIFE IS PERFECT within their own way and nobody else can compete. Especially those who get demanding that grammar be perfect or the poem simple. Face facts people. There's more of US who prolly failed ENGLISH in school than those with straight A's. Nitpicking won't change our world. Embrace it don't disgrace it. Makes you kinda wonder how ANNE RICE was successful. She denied her books be edited and made quite a few mistakes. Would you tell her to her face that she can't write worth shit? Is that before or after she shows you her bank account? lol
I'm the guy staring you down ready to put a star on your forehead and say PASSING GRADE. Let's just get along and enjoy the creativity not the perfectionist crap. Nuff said.
Otherwise I'm just a fella that enjoys his Harley and spending time with my 13 year old son. Outdoors type but I take a notebook and pen everywhere I go. Inspiration strikes even on hikes. lol

    Dear poet, in reply to your missive, you don't know me but you know me well enough to know that I offer my opinion straight up,like neat vodka on the rocks,what you see is what you get,100% proof, clear firewater.Like yourself, I do not post my creativity or comments to offend, like yourself I will offer an opinion and leave it on the table for consideration and because of that we have a mutual respect.
    I appreciate that I may share my opinions and perspectives openly with you without you feeling that I am being unjust but accepting that I offer a constructive critique.
    I am stating on the open page that it was not I that made a complaint re recieving a link to your creativity, if I ever have a point of discussion to discuss I discuss it with you and enjoyed that liberty of openess.
    It was wrong of one of your favourites to go to admin as opposed to asking you to please not send a link,we are all adults with the ability to use words effectively and with the mandate to communicate whether via poetry, stories or conversation.
    The poet merely had to ask you and you would have acquiesed, whilst you present a dominant personna within your creativity you are always polite and gentlemanly.
    I am sorry you had such a start to the New Year but please try and put it behind you and see it more as an inability within another than within yourself,though it does smart when one wonders why, sometimes there is no answer to the question.
    I clicked the link you sent and read only part of it and clicked off simply because I was not in a time and place to offer the kind of critique you accept and expect from me.
    I am glad to see that you have returned to using the user name of soldiersoul, I like it, the soul does soldier on and needs the mandate of a marine to adapt and overcome.
    I cannot ask ap to tell you who it was but if you like I will ask them to verify that it wasn't me and I have a huge, huge personal belief in honesty and personal responsibility and am posting this on your page as a testimonial to your character attributes and my own.
    I hope that you are reassured and that you continue to feel free to post links to me, I do not often have the time to read such lengthy pieces and I know you understand that rather than say something trite via skim reading I will give full attention or wait until am able to give full attention.
    Enough of my rambling, respect is something earned and you have mine for you have never, ever disrespected me,that is a gift in cyberspace for some the anonimity is a licence to misuse the liberty of free speech, you do NOT misuse it and neither do I.
