I don't know what my style of poetry is. Basically I just write what I feel. Sometimes it makes sense and then some times it is what it is. I hope to learn about the different forms of poetry and see where it takes me. So be patient with me because I just like to write. I especially like to write about spiritual and inspirational themes. This is one of my favorite poems that I wrote:
*Think About It*
God is keeping you
On the path of righteousness
You couldn't do it by yourself
Think about it and you will realize
That you have truly been blessed

Often we're tempted to give up
By life's problems and stress
Sometimes we feel so hopeless
Because we tried to do our best
And still have found no answers yet

At the same time God knows
What you're going through
When you think you're all alone
That no one really cares
Don't you know he's carrying you

Think about it
If God could love you enough
To let his son die on the cross
So that you could have the chance
To be free from sin and born again

Just think about it when you're down
And your smile has turned into a frown
Remember this simple request
Forgive yourself, Love yourself
And God will do the rest
