I am 22years old. i have been writing on and off since i was 10. I love poetry and literature. Shakespeare pulled me in when i was 10 and have loved his work ever since. i am married and have a little girl named Serenity.
My style used to be depressing poems, because that's how i felt more often than not. Now I do not write very often, when i have most of the time it's short and simple verses getting to the point with as much detail as possible. enjoy and comment if you like.

the smog on the gravel pursues me
i move heavily through old memories
that tug at my heels
many starless nights
have abandoned me to darkness
i stare down
so that my stinging watery vision
is not seen
my shoulders are slumped over
as a gripping burden
holds tight to it's grasp
now the clouds approach
to cover all vision
of this banished soul
