    A Fairytale For A Princess
    by Aliana on Mar 07, 2003

    It was a night cold and still.
    The moon had stopped moving
    Through the clouds;
    The stars held their breath,
    As the princess whispered her vow.

    I know you angels of heaven,
    Look down upon me in good grace.
    I stand here before you
    Naked of pride;
    Blessed by the wisdom you shine
    Upon my face.

    I vow with the mornings rise
    To stand tall and be strong.
    To put back into my heart
    The wisdom of your song.
    I had all but forgotten,
    What had brought me here to this spot.
    The trials and tribulations of life,
    Had caused my heart to all but stop.

    I do not wish for charming,
    For charming is just that.
    To please or delight another,
    Through incantations often flat.
    I beg not for the gift of love,
    But for my love to be a gift.
    To shine light into the darkness of another,
    Whom otherwise, may not of ever felt
    The magic of this soulful gift.

    To live with passion my childhood beliefs;
    Let them not forsake.
    Even when age has creased my brow;
    Let girlishness, giggle
    At past mistakes.

    A fairytale for this princess
    Does not end with once upon a time.
    It begins with happily ever after;
    She will be,
    From this very precious,
    Whispered, heartfelt cry.

    Found it .... enjoy
