Of life
a sated soul
drinks long from the vessel
of music, laughter, acts of love
and smiles

Your lips
hover so near-
Tip the goblet you hold;
an elixer of soft night sighs.
Nectar.

Pale lake,
your rip'ling tides
catch wisdom's ripened tears
shared with the Moon who shrouds each tryst-
Loons cry
