SilentdisasterShow poetry

Shit hits the fan too often.

I AM A METAL HEAD, LOVE ME OR HATE ME FOR IT.. and i love the occasional SPONTANEOUS HILARY DUFF DANCE PARTY!!!

Oh, the old poetry from the first weeks of writing.... turned me into the man i am today.

The Apocolypse

Have you ever felt your life was worth nothing
And had friends to back that up?
Ever wish for something more to life that you couldn’t see?
Ever laid back doing nothing but wishing
For a meteor to blow the earth up?
Have you ever just let things be?

Did you notice the next day you weren’t falling
Into a bottomless pit?
Was it the stimulus or reaction that kept you here with me?
Because the event left you crawling
That stopped you and made you sit
Why cant we be free in this sea of glee?

We joined hands wen the meteor was arriving
We both knew we were about to be dying
And we stayed in its path without flinching
You didn’t care enough about my feelings
I didn’t care enough your instincts
And we sit here denying our love never ending

In a quick minute the world collapsed
Undertook and mistreated unforgiving
We caused the breeding of ignorance
The earth kept fighting the humans time elapsed
Wishing now we could be reliving
And changing our views and insolence

The Quest of a Lifetime

They told him to follow the yellow brick road
To a place where mosquitoes are afraid to goad
The traveler turns his walk to a skip when all seems right
To a place where his fears mean happiness in a frozen night
Escaping a past of foils and tribulations that infested his mind
Looking for a day of non-existent work he couldn’t find

He found himself among children with faces he knew
As if his childhood had never fully grew
From an imaginary fantasy of pain and racism
In the time of complete totalitarianism
A war with neighboring nations
As he stood watching the children filled with animation

Then one girl came out of the fun to disrupt the traveler’s glare
A girl with a hear of gold and the face of a pear
That happened to reach into her pocket to draw a gun
Loaded with pain to spoil his fun
She gave him one last glance and recklessly fired
As the rest of the playground smiled and admired

My Whisper: Can You Hear It?

I whisper to my angel everynight
Hoping she'd hear every word
From the bottom of my heart
Everything I want she can give
And every need is in her eyes

"So when I take you out tonight,
don't complain that I spent too much
on you because you deserve every penny"

My whispers are soft and sweet
As the taste of her in the same
As I caress her with my tongue
And she urges me never to stop
loving her so deeply

Every love i've ever known has been disrupted
By differences between us
But I can't find anything different here
Everything I love in me, I see in you
All i want is for you to hear my whisper

I don't know how we found each other
But I bless this love as it were eternal
Because nothing will stop us if we stick together
No wall to block our path
No mountain to high for our climb
No one to tell us its just lust
No distance to keep us apart
No whisper to tell us it wil never last

We will make this worth it
We cannot be conquered
We are our own future
And no one can keep me from loving you

Eclipse

Another night underneath the moonlit fire
Taking our words and turning into desire
The eagle still lingers above our heads
And I feel your hand grab mine
Your body draws closer
And at that moment the sun is unseen from the moon
Your grip get gets tighter, ever gripping my soul
To be yours forever and you mine
(I'll never leave this moment)

As the sun sets and the moon wanes higher
I'd whisper sweet nothings into your ear
Feeling your squirm only makes me want you more
and that tight white dress isn't telling me no
I feel a hand slip into my pants
And thats when I blacked out
Until I woke up next to you in the same sleeping bag
On the same football field, and both naked
(I'll never leave this moment)

I feel the ground around us to find a my used condoms
All of our clothes thrown around,
And as I open my eyes
To see the policeman yelling at us for noise complaints
I remember how she still whispered into my ear
"Put it back in, PLEASE!!"
I think thats when my parents car door slammed in the parking lot
(I'll never leave this moment)
