a silly mom..unless forced to play parent by teens. An avid reader with a love for language. Love my "pups" almost as much as my children.... their problems are smaller... and they never grow up and move out on you... as my 20 year old daughter did...i miss the brat! She's now married to her Marine, Evan...please send him prayers as he will be deployed to Iraq in January.... May the Angels watch over him

 

I'm now addicted to the movie rent..hence my motto... Jonathan Larson was sooo gifted... a shame we lost such a talent...

 

I'm of native american/mexican/dutch descent... a former foster child..always appreciate the gifts children are..and YES..you can rise above the system...been an orphan for 21 years..though have many friends who are more blood than blood... attitude is everything...amazing things have been done with can do attitudes... but we also need time to reflect and re-generate..so be kind to self..and others..respect all...  anyhoo..thanks for visiting my site..peace and hugs to you all

Little-Hug.... a darling girl and lovely sweet niece... her writes are fantastic for an eleven year old...a sweetheart and a child whose eyes see more than most 40 year olds...and her heart is probably as big as she is!

 

Putsabandaidon.... my aussie niece...she's audacious(look that up sweetheart...hehehe) and a joy a little imp... i think i'll keep her :)

am an avid fantasy scifi reader... although i write straight from the heart.
i have a tendency to get obsessed..it's the ADD adult in me, and reading/writing calms my racing brain. I also deeply enjoy fantasy art, boris vallejo, frank freschetta and the whimsy of michael whelan... faeries have been an ever favorite...and some day butterflycuts and i will collab and tellyou about the toiletbrush faerie...LOL..our new idol

 

There are many things I could tell you! I was a street kid so have lived through all walks of life. I'm recovering from cancer and two strokes and a heart attack. Life can be cruel, but it is also very kind in ways we cannot fathom. It's so full of irony. I look like a kid, but have enough "life" experience to be 80 ;)  I'm a big advocate against child abuse. I'm always willing and able to talk to a troubled person who's in an abusive situation. I've learned alot through courses and therapy and am always willing as i said to lend an ear.

 

I often mother everyone i know. I can't help it! Anyhoo, please live everyday as if it's your last, try to think "good" thoughts, and you will find it's much easier to kill people with kindness rather than be cranky(strange but true) May the muse be with you! peace and harmonyto all of you and thanks again for visiting.

ps< i'm generally an independent cuss... given to fugues of depression and neediness.... so if you don't see me...am trying not to hurt someone inadvertantly I hope you understand :)

i've discovered alot about myself on this site... it's been very enlightening, uplifting and sad to read some of these writes...and very cathartic to write some of my own.
i've made new friends, new discoveries, and have been touched by you all.
