What God means to me.

1.) What God means to me is Love. I never knew love until the day I met Jesus, I searched for 25 years in everyway, but never knew love until Jesus saved my soul.
2.) What God means to me is Joy. I was never so happy until Jesus became my Lord and friend; the joy in my heart now isn’t longing after the flesh, but the hope in a righteous eternal kingdom.
3.) What God means to me is Peace. The peace in my soul is the assurance of my salvation; in the world I feared the imminent wrath of a righteous creator, now I’m at peace with my savior.
4.) What God means to me is patience. I have waited upon the lord and have seen that he is good, I have cast my burdens upon the lord and given him my problems, I now walk in confidence, knowing that all things work together for our good.
5.) What God means to me is Kindness. Kindness is a quality that is multiplied when given away; Jesus has given his kindness and Holy Spirit to me, now I give kindness back to others.
6.) What God means to me is Goodness. No one is good except the father, and the father is in me, and has made me his good vessel fit for his works.
7.) What God means to me is faithfulness. For the faithfulness of Jesus has produced faith in me, Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith, for it is his faith that washes me white as snow.
8.) What God means to me is gentleness. God will not break a busied reed; I’ve been crushed but not broken off, in his gentleness, he has brought me to green pastures of saving grace.
9.) What God means to me is self-control. Self-control is the byproduct of the faithful Christian life, Jesus was tempted by Satan and endured the cross until the end, self-control is putting your life in Gods hands and acting in obedience in all situations, I long for the day when I can say, I have crucified my flesh, and walk in self-control and righteous obedience.
   
God you were there when nobody else was, you did for me what nobody else does. God you’re the one who will never fail, or let the enemy ever prevail. God you’re the one who always loves, and forgives my sins form heaven above. God you’re the father who loves me the best, I pray myself worthy to pass your test. O’ how I long to enter your rest.

                        A word from God

I’m not asking you to be foolish, just outrageously, joyously confident in your God. He wants you to know the truth about His plans for you today. My plans for you are only good. What I want for you is greater than anything you have seen so far. You can trust in Me completely!
