  I looked at some of Nick Cave's lyrics and I must admit, its not my type of music, but the lyrics tell stories and they are easy to understand. Some of them are just imagery. Like the one called 'Black Hair'... great imagery and great choice of words. It is like just poetry with instruments. lol. Nice to see that kind of stuff.
