I don't write much/very often and the ratio of lines written to final products is low. To me poetry has no true color, no true shade, it is whatever comes to me, I usually write based off a single line or stanza, or some amount in between, and take that line or so and run with it, allow the words to carry me. I believe that in poetry it is most important that the words carry the reader with them effortlessly down the page. If the reader is not transported and the writing does not flow then the writer has failed his or her goal.

Hulali on February 7, 2007Hi, new friend.
It says much that you talk about editing and that you write much more than you deem finished. Writing is the easy part. It's the editing that is a little like work, don't you think.
Wow, Horus8 talked to you. You're in the big time now. -
