carol anne duffy!!!! i loved the valentines poems bit with 'the moon wrapped in brown paper' such a fantastic anr realistic poem about offering love. nearly got the chance to study with her (a long time ago) as i was recommended to join one of her classes by my teacher but family-life kinda took over and we had to move far away. which sucked. but i suppose i got an honourable mention....so....she is one of my favourite poets. thankyou for your comments on city sidereal too. i do agree about the repetition of 'no cars' and i'll look at the whole thing again with your suggestions in mind, so thanks!

Thanks for the actual commetn on my poem. It is quite refreshing to see someone who still gives them. To comment here on the contant of your author's page, I would have to say (and add) this:
"Things I hate:
...
- Mushy love poetry - get over it for godsake!!"
- Unecessary cutting poems- get over it!!

Yeah, sometimes, I can see merit in both, but both are also overdone. Off to read some poetry.
