Those are my top 5 favs to visit and read. (In that order). All of them are wonderful poets, with great gifts. Check em out. As for me...

Writing helps me. I like to engage in the practice...If you need to know more, my poems are much more effective at painting a picture of who I am. Or check out my band's page:

Music gives me a chance to bring my lyrics to life in a unique way. We have songs to listen to. Have fun there!

My favorite bands are Pink Floyd (Syd Barrett!!!), Radiohead, Coldplay, The Stripes, Hives, Strokes, Jet and the Chili's...Secondarily:The Sundays, old R.E.M., old I.N.X.S and some others I can't think of presently...

I play piano and guitar, but more piano. (So much better than watching t.v. for hours.)

Music, writing, and creativity I believe will help me live forever...

"I've been looking all over the place for a place for me
But it ain't anywhere
It just ain't anywhere. "
-Syd Barrett

"Your mouth shall mock the old and wise,
Your laugh shall fill the world with flame,
I'll write upon the shrinking skies
The scarlet splendor of your name."
-Rupert Brooke

"From childhood's hour I have not been
As others were; I have not seen
As others saw; I could not bring
My passions from a common spring.
From the same source I have not taken
My sorrow; I could not awaken
My heart to joy at the same tone;
And all I loved, I loved alone."
-E.A. Poe

Hey....I read the poem "The Hill" by Rupert Brooke like you suggested..what a write! I really liked it..so beautiful and yet..not in this fake Disney made way..hehe. What can I say...all of us cannot be a Cinderella..I really did like it though. The lines:
All's over that is ours; and life burns on
Through other lovers, other lips" said I,
"Heart of my heart, our heaven is now, is won!"

Awesome..I'm gonna check out more of his stuff. Thanx for the suggestion Oh..if you never have..you should check out some stuff by my favorite poet *no it's not myself* Edna St. Vincent Millay...she has some very real and beautiful poetry Oh well I'll talk to you about that later

Don't have much time right now, but wanted to thank-you for dropping by and commenting on one of my poems. I'm afraid I work with young children, and sharing poetry with the adult content of that one would be HIGHLY inappropriate. Maybe if I worked at a college it would be a little different. Thanks again!
